Curious about Brazilian Dance and Drumming? Take a class!
Join us for weekly community classes to experience the exhilarating and healing art of Samba, African Brazilian Dance, and Drumming. Classes are taught by our Founder and Artistic Director as well as guest teachers from the Company. Classes are open to all levels of experience, beginners are welcome, and we are a proud ally of LGBTQ and BIPOC. This is a safe space to make art.

WEEKLY CLASS SCHEDULE BELOW
TUESDAY
All Level Samba
Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm
What to expect: In this class, you will learn different Brazilian samba dances such as Samba no pé, Roots of Samba, and Carnival Dances. You will also get an introduction to Portuguese samba vocabulary and cultural elements of samba. We will focus on speed, endurance, and choreography.

Price: $25.00 per class and children 5-12 years old are FREE with paying adults.

TUESDAY
All Level African Brazilian Dance with Live Drumming
Class time: 7:00 pm-8:15 pm
What to expect: In this class, you will experience the joy and thrill of dancing to live drumming with our very own Samba Colorado musicians! You will learn the fundamentals of Brazilian and African dances of the diaspora including folkloric, Orixá, and Silvestre-inspired dance. We will start with a warm-up and work on cardio, strength, endurance, and choreography. Please tip your musicians after class.

All Level Brazilian Drumming

What to expect: Interested in learning, playing, and performing Brazilian percussion techniques? You can start learning instrumentation, musicality, and percussion styles inspired by the music of Brazil. Instruments are provided and no experience is necessary. Performance opportunities are also available!
Price: $25.00 per class and children 5-12 years old are FREE with paying adults.
